Electric and hybrid vehicles are becoming more and more popular among American drivers, and between a growing need for environmentally friendly vehicles and gas prices that are constantly fluctuating, having a solid lineup of electric vehicles has become not just an aspiration, but a necessity. For 2023, all of your favorite Volvo models like the Volvo XC60 and the Volvo XC40 will be taking the plunge towards electrification. There are no completely gas-powered models in the 2023 lineup, only electric and hybrid vehicles.
An Electrifying Lineup
Volvo's commitment to sustainability is obvious in the 2023 lineup. Each and every model for the coming year will be either a standard hybrid or standard electric. The XC40 Recharge and C40 Recharge, for example, will be zero-emissions vehicles, while the S60 and V60 will both be available as both mild hybrids and plug-in hybrids. The 2023 mild hybrids are even more efficient than regular hybrids and never require a plug-in, and the plug-in hybrid models have a Pure Mode that allows you to drive on 100% battery power, with the option to switch back to the gasoline engine whenever you need to.
Google Built-In
Google built-in has already been standard on the C40 Recharge and XC40 Recharge, as well as the XC60, S90, and V90 Cross Country. For 2023, Google built-in will be available for the entire Volvo lineup. Transition seamlessly between your digital life at home and on the road by using Google Assistant for easy voice control, Google Maps as your car's native navigation system, and the Google Play store to add additional convenient apps.
